The conference: Ordered Statistical Data: Approximations, Bounds and Characterizations will be held in Warsaw on May 24 - 28, 2004. The meeting will be devoted mostly to mathematical aspects of ordered statistics, records and their generalizations. It is intended to be a continuation of workshops organized in 2002 and 2003. Traditions of these meetings were wide discussions and presentations of open problems. This time, while maintaining these traditions, we are planning a wider meeting bringing together researchers involved in the area from all over the world. Still the field is quite specialized and therefore the number of participants is expected to be about 50. We strongly encourage you to take part in the conference and to share your interest and recent contributions with others by active participation in the meeting, in particular by presenting a talk. The title and the abstract, together with the registration form, should reach as by May 1, 2004.

The conference venue is, traditionally, the Stefan Banach International Mathematical Center located in the heart of Warsaw. Except for the conference facilities the place has the best mathematical library in Poland, which will be available for the participants.
