The session at Będlewo dedicated to the memory of Charles Ehresmann, on the occasion of the hundredth anniversary of his birthday, is supported by the following mathematicians:
Ronnie BROWN (UK), Pierre CARTIER (France), Andrée Charles EHRESMANN (France), André HAEFLIGER (Switzerland), André JOYAL (Canada), Anders KOCK (Denmark), Ivan KOLÁŘ (Czech Republic), Paulette LIBERMANN (France), Kirill MACKENZIE (UK), Charles Michel MARLE (France), Peter MICHOR (Austria), Ieke MOERDIJK (The Netherlands), Pierre MOLINO (France), Bertrand MONTHUBERT (France), Valentin POENARU (France), Jean PRADINES (France), Jean RENAULT (France), Alexandre Martins RODRIGUES (Brazil), James STASHEFF (USA), Alan WEINSTEIN (USA), Michel ZISMAN (France).

To the Scientific Committee belong also: Dmitri Alekseevsky (UK), Bogdan Bojarski (Poland), Janusz Grabowski (Poland), Alexander Mishchenko (Russia), Nicola Teleman (Italy), Janos Szenthe (Hungary), Wlodzimierz Tulczyjew (Italy), Yanlin Yu (China), Weiping Zhang (China).

The main aim of the conference series is to present and discuss new results on geometry and topology of manifolds with the particular attention being paid to applications of algebraic methods. The topics usually discussed include:

All these topics are very closely related and most interesting results are obtained when various non-standard methods are applied.

To stimulate an exchange of ideas and research we plan to invite a group of important and experienced researchers to give mini-courses and lectures on chosen topics.

We hope that the meeting will attract many young mathematicians, Ph.D. students and recent Ph.D.'s. The conferences should provide them with ideas and stimuli for their own research. It would be an opportunity to meet people who push the limits of geometry and topology and set directions for the future research.

Full cost of the conference (accommodation and full board) is 280€ (for the accompanying persons 200€). The participants are requested to pay at the beginning of the conference.

It is possible that the organizers will be able to cover full or partial the accommodation costs of a limited number of young researchers and researches from East Europe. Please send us a request if it is needed.

The proceedings of the 7th Conference are planned to be published in the Banach Center Publications.
