Workshop on the differential and difference equations in the complex domain

Workshop on the differential and difference equations in the complex domain

10 - 13 September, 2012, Warsaw

The goal of the workshop is to bring together the leading experts in the theory of differential and difference equations in the complex domain, to exchange their recent results and coordinate future research. It is expected that this workshop will be an excellent opportunity to continue existing and start new collaboration between mathematicians from France, Poland and other countries.
Main topics:
1. Formal and analytic solutions of differential, difference and q-difference equations: Gevrey order, Borel summability, asymptotic expansion, small divisor and Stokes phenomena.
2. Ordinary differential equations in the complex domain: Painlevé equations, movable singularities, WKB methods for monodromy problems, orthogonal polynomials, integral representation of solutions.
