Geometric Methods in Complex Analysis III

Research group:
Geometric Methods in Complex Analysis III

11 - 15 April, 2012, Będlewo

The research group was a continuation of the meetings organized under the same name in 2010 and 2011. Additionally, it was a good occassion to celebrate 60th birthday of Prof. Marek Jarnicki. The reserach group focused on certain topics of geometric function theory of several complex variables:

  • holomorphically invariant functions (mainly on problems connected with the Lempert theorem as well as with properties of the symmetrized polydiscs)- this was the direct continuation of the research group meeting in 2011.
  • theory of analytic discs
  • pluripotential theory
  • groups of automorphisms

During the meeting the series of lectures were given. R. Sigurdsson's lectures were a short course of the theory of analytic discs. N. Scherbina and W. Zwonek gave expository talks on recent developments and interesting open problems in the areas of their study. Other talks were devoted to the speakers' latest results. Along with the official programme of the meeting, there were also informal discussions on the aforementioned topics held.
