Hypercomplex Seminar 2012

Hypercomplex Seminar 2012

8 - 15 July, 2012, Będlewo

(Hyper)Complex Function Theory, Regression,
(Crystal) Lattices, Fractals, Chaos, and Physics

dedicated to the memory of Academician Promarz Tamrazov
on the occasion of 20 years of the direct cooperation agreement Łódź-Kyiv

Scientific topics (satelite to the Congress of European Mathematicians, Kraków, July 2-7):
* influence of the Łódź-Kyiv direct cooperation agreement (since 1992) on our results in Complex Analysis (CA) and General Physical Ideas (GPI),
* influence of the Lvov School on generalizations of CA and on GPI,
* regression, complex, para-quaternionic, and fractal approximation for crystals, semiconductors, and nanoparticles,
* para-quaternionic, Clifford, Jordan, Ingarden, and fractal structures vs. surface properties of crystals,
* (hyper)complex methods vs. bifurcation, chaos, and quantum information.

Among invited lectures we expect those by Fray de Landa Castillo Alvarado (México, D.F.), Bogdan Bojarski (Warszawa), Stancho Dimiev (Sofia), Pierre Dolbeault (Paris), Janusz Garecki (Szczecin), Rodrigo Gómez Mendoza (México), Kazimierz Jezuita (Warszawa), Tomasz Kapitaniak (Łódź), Andriy Kondratyuk (Lviv), Ralitza K. The organizers can fully support few participants (full board and accommodation), travel excluded. The others have to pay 940 zlotys (ca. 220 EUR or 300 USD, current exchange rates can be found here), which includes full board and accommodation from 8 July lunch till 15 July breakfast (840 zlotys) and other costs. The Mathematical Research and Conference Center is situated 35 kms South of Poznań and 7 kms West of the nearest railway station at Mosina (railline Poznań - Leszno - Wrocłˆaw) in a picturesque noble palace surrounded by a 9 hectare park. It is a perfect starting point for hikes to lakes and forests of the Wielkopolski National Park which is right next to the palace.
The seminar is organized jointly with the University of Łódź.
