Ordered Statistical Data

28.05.2017 - 02.06.2017 | Będlewo

Ordered statistical data is a developing branch of statistics and applied probability. It includes, among others, order and record statistics, censored data, reliability theory and survival analysis. International conferences on ordered statistical data, that stemmed and grew up from the research group meeting in Warsaw in 2002, are organized every two years, and the last one took place in 2016 in Piraeus, Greece.

Polish researchers decided to arrange meetings between the conferences in the odd years with the scientists who collaborate with them. The first OSD research group meeting took place in Będlewo in September 2015, and the forthcoming event is a continuation and extension of the initiative. The research group meeting OSD 2017 provides an opportunity for personal intensive communication resulting in increased progress of joint research projects. All foreign participants have joint publications and some work-in-progress with Polish people.
