On line configurations on quartic surfaces 

Abstract:
In the period 2012-2016 most questions concerning number and configurations of lines 
on projective quartic surfaces defined over various fields have been answered.
In this survey talk - only partially based on joint work with Prof. M. Schuett - 
I will present most important results and explain what questions remain open.
