Lodging. The rooms for participants of the CODY 2009 Summer School have been booked at three different places. You will be informed by e-mail where do you stay.

You can also consult the web pages (English version) of the Public Transport System of Warsaw. A 7-day City Travelcard (unlimited travel with all means of public transport) costs 32 PLN (around 8 EUR).
Taxis. A taxi fare from the airport to IMPAN and „Hera” should be around 35-50 PLN, and to Heavy Ion Lab – around 25-30 PLN. Use only the taxis from the official taxi stand in front of the terminal exit, with a telephone number on top (especially 19191). Ignore the "taxi drivers" harrassing travellers in the airport hall.
Per diem. You will obtain your per diem money in cash on Monday.
How to get to 2. and 3. by bus?
To get to the Heavy Ion Laboratory from the airport, take the bus no 175 or 188 and go to the stop Banacha – Szpital (some 15-20 minutes). From there you need to walk some 500 m. Have a look at our Google Map..
To get to „Hera” from the airport, you need to change buses. There are several options, we list two of them:
Take the bus no 188 and go to the stop Metro Politechnika (some 20-27 minutes). Change the stop from Metro Politechnika 01 to DS Riviera 01 (just turn right at the big crossing – you do not need to cross any street) and take the bus 119 or 131 to the stop Spacerowa (some 6-8 minutes). Take the bus no 188 and go to the stop Plac na Rozdrozu (some 24-30 minutes). Change the stop from Plac na Rozdrozu 05 to Plac na Rozdrozu 01 (first go upstairs, turn right, and then cross the big street, Aleje Ujazdowskie, via an underground passage) and take any of the buses 116, 166, 180 or 195 to the stop Spacerowa (some 4-5 minutes).
