The aim of this talk is to present the upper estimate of the Hausdorff dimension of escaping paramaters in the families of elliptic functions. It appears to be the same as the upper estimate of the Hausdorff dimension of the set of escaping points set in the dynamical plane. We also estimate the area of escaping set of certain meromorphic functions in the class B.

If time allows there will be also some continuation of the parabolic renormalization talk.
