Here, there are some photos of the stone-moss-sand
garden
constructed by me near Warsaw:

My work on this garden started in August 2007, and the garden is
still
under construction. It is situated
under the linden tree.
The garden consists of 11 stones. Most of them were found near
Suwalki (North-East of Poland).
The architecture of the garden is governed by two stone-triads. The
higher one is formed by two
Niwa-ishi
stones and the Tsukubai. The flat one is a part of a walking path.
The lantern is inspired by
the Japanese "tachi-gata" lanterns. In the Japanese tradition,
this kind of lanterns is
made from a homogeneous material. My lantern is made from stones found
near Warsaw. Since, in Poland,
any two stones are different, we adopt here a more flexible style of
Japanese rustic "yomodori" lanterns.
The
work with
stones was done with the help of Marek Filewicz, a stone-cutter
from
Warsaw.

The
above garden is now in the period of rebuilding. This process
should
be finished hopefully in 2011. The name of the new garden
will be PRAGACZ NO NIWA.
