The educational workshop "Probabilistic Methods in Geometry" will be held in Będlewo, Poland between July 6th and July 12th, 2008.
It will be focused on the interplay between probability theory and geometry, especially in the context of asymptotic geometric analysis.
The workshop is organized within the framework of the Marie Curie Research Training Network Phenomena in High Dimensions with the support of the Stefan Banach International Mathematical Center of the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
The workshop is an accompanying event to the 60th Anniversary of the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
The workshop will consist of 4 minicourses given by:

Gideon Schechtman, Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot
Stanisław Szarek, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland & Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris
Nicole Tomczak-Jaegermann, University of Alberta, Edmonton
On top of it there will be two invited one-hour talks, several short communications sesions and a poster session.
