The main theme of the school is the mathematical analysis of probabilistic models of origins and stability of non-periodic structures. This includes models of quasicrystals, probabilistic cellular automata, spin glasses and possible connections between them.

School is cofinanced by the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics of the University of Warsaw.
