Professor Jan Kisyński passed away on 18.11.2022
It is with deep sadness that we convey the news of the death of professor Jan Kisyński at the age of 89.
Professor was a corresponding member of the Polish Academy of Sciences, a member of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences, a long-term member of the editorial board of the Studia Mathematica journal.
As an outstanding specialist in functional analysis, during his scientific career he was associated successively with UMCS, UW, IMPAN and the Lublin University of Technology.
