Title: Limiting Hodge structures and differential operators

Abstract:
The classical method of solving an ordinary differential equation near a regular 
singularity using power series and powers of log determines a rational structure 
on the space of solutions. In the talk I will explain that, when the differential 
equation is geometric, these classical solutions span the de Rham space of the 
limiting Hodge structure. This observation facilitates computation of periods of 
limiting MHS.
