In this talk, we will discuss the Generalized Fermat Equations of type (2,3,n). After Wiles celebrated proof of Fermat's Last Theorem there is an abundance of results for different exponents (p,q,r) and the work on the (2,3,n)-equation fits into this story. We will explore novel techniques applied to solve the particular (2,3,11) case and determine the descent data required to establish the whole set of primitive solutions for general n.
