Geometric quantization is a procedure of assigning operators acting on a suitable classes of functions to functions on phase space in a geometrically meaningful way. We aim to present geometric quantization in a trivial setting, accessible to everyone knowing the basics of symplectic geometry. We also aim to highlight various relations between geometric quantization and Weyl quantization.
