Commencement of scholarship: Not earlier than 1st of October, not later than 1st of November.

Terms of scholarship:

  1. The project provides one scholarship.
  2. The call is addressed to doctoral students of Polish universities and scientific institutes with a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, physics, or computer science.
  3. The scholarship amount is 5000 PLN per month for a period of 12 months.
  4. The rules for awarding scholarships under NCN-funded projects are set out in the Regulations (annex to NCN Council Resolution No. 25/2019 of 14 March 2019).

Task description: We are developing combinatorial methods to investigate problems originating from the following fields: representation theory, probability theory, enumerative geometry, and matrix models. The research problems undertaken by the candidate may pertain to only one of the mentioned fields, depending on their preference.

Future scholarship holders are expected to actively engage in scientific research activities related to the research grant, present the obtained results in scientific journals and at scientific conferences, and actively participate in research group meetings.

Required documents:

  1. CV including academic achievements, awards, and distinctions.
  2. Description of research interests
  3. List of publications (if applicable), talks during conferences and seminars.
