ESF Follow-up Strategic Meeting
13 - 16 Febuary, 2012, Warsaw
This is a follow-up meeting after the exploratory workshop EW10-078 on "Current Problems In Differential Calculus Over Commutative Alegbras, Secondary Calculus, And Solution Singularities Of Nonlinear PDEs", Vietri sul Mare (SA) Italy, 13-16 June 2011.
The Exploratory Workshop succeeded in bringing together several recognised researchers from rather disconnected groups scattered through Europe and working in the differential geometry of PDEs and/or Theoretical and Mathematical Physics.
The Workshop aimed at elaborating interfaces between different theoretical areas, thus solidifying the foundations of the theories, and at broadening the range of their concrete applications.
In this respect, the participants agreed that it is essential not to disperse their scientific efforts. In order to achieve this goal, it would be very useful to constitute a research network at the European scale.
ESF Follow-up Strategic Meeting aims at discussing:
- details of a concrete common research project on the above mentioned themes
- the possibility of applying for a Marie Curie action to finance such a project.
