- Basics on the Moore Penrose Generalized Inverse,
Singular Value Expansion and the Spectral Theory
Thursday, March 27
1000 – 1200
- Continuous Regularization Methods
- A Priori and A Posteriori Parameter Selection Methods
- Tikhonov Regularization

- Adaptive Grid Regularization

Moreover a session of short communications and some tutorials/exercises depending on a need are foreseen. Participants who wish to present a short communication are kindly requested to notify it in the registration form.

The course is addressed mainly to mathematicians interested in modern applied mathematics. There is no registration fee. Some registered participants will be accommodated, free of charge, in the Banach Center guest rooms (number of places limited). We offer to cover also living expenses for some number of participants. In order to receive a support PhD/MSc students are asked to provide a recommendation letter from their supervisor.
