We support the Ukrainian Mathematical Olympiad
The Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences has been supporting the organization of the Ukrainian Mathematical Olympiad (Математичні олімпіади в Києві) for more than two years.
Thanks to this, students currently residing in Poland can take part in it. In May 2022, the first workshops were held at the Research and Conference Centre in Będlewo, and later we made rooms available at the headquarters of the Institute of Economics of the Polish Academy of Sciences at 8 Śniadeckich Street in Warsaw for the needs of the next stages of the Olympiad. In November 2023, the qualifiers for the International Mathematical Olympiad IMO 2024 took place (first picture). In January 2024, level III competition was held (regional level, second photo), and in February, three rounds of eliminations for the final of the competition.
