A goal of IMPANGA is to spread out Algebraic Geometry of good taste among
Polish
mathematical community.
According to Hartshorne:
"To define
algebraic geometry, we could say that it is the study of
the solutions of systems
of polynomial equations
in an affine or projective n-space. In other words, it is
the study of algebraic varieties."
So this is the main theme of the Seminar IMPANGA.
