Kick-off meeting of the Simons Semester on Mathematical Biology at the Banach Center, 1 December 2017 - 31 March 2018

The general aim of the meeting is to present scientific content and goals of the Simons Semester on Mathematical Biology to a broader audience and to integrate participants and future participants of the semester. The formula of the meeting is based on BIOFIZMAT meetings which 6-th edition Biofizmat 6 was held on 26-27 May 2017 in Banach Center in Warsaw.

There will be expository review talks by scientific leaders of the semester and other invited lecturers. In addition we plan sessions of scientific presentations of members of the Board of the European Society for Mathematical and Theoretical Biology (ESMTB) and members of the organization committee of The Year of Mathematical Biology 2018, a joint venture of European Mathematical Society and ESMTB.
