We are delighted to announce that the Minister of Science and Higher Education has approved the application to include the Banach Center together with the Będlewo Research and Conference Centre in the Polish Map for Research Infrastructures. This decision marks an important milestone for the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences and recognizes the strategic importance of the Banach Center for the development of research in Poland.
Until now, the Institute of Mathematics PAS had been represented on the Polish Map for Research Infrastructures as a participating institution in the international Virgo Gravitational-Wave Observatory infrastructure, led on by Professor Andrzej Królak. The new entry significantly strengthens the Institute's position on the Polish Map for Research Infrastructures and highlights its role as one of Poland's leading mathematical research institutions.
