We are pleased to inform you that a representative of the Banach Center has been elected (for a second four-year term) to the Council of the European Mathematical Society, as one of two representatives of EMS institutional members, receiving the highest number of votes in the election.
The elected institutional representatives on the Council are:
Adam Skalski (Banach Center, Warsaw)
Javier Aramayona (ICMAT, Madrid)
The EMS Council is the main governing body of the Society ex. responsible for electing the EMS Executive Committee. The next Council meeting will take place in June in Lisbon.
