Research and Conference Center in Będlewo

The Research and Conference Center of IMPAN in Będlewo is a part of the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences and is under the authority of the Institute's Director. The primary objective of the Center is to organize conferences and workshops dedicated to various fields of mathematics and to foster an environment conducive to scientific research. The Center primarily serves as a venue for scientific meetings organized by the Stefan Banach International Mathematical Center, but it is also available to research teams from other fields as well as organizers of other meetings.

The Center is located 26 km southwest of the center of Poznań, just 2 km from the Poznań-Wrocław route. It borders the Wielkopolska National Park, and one of its significant advantages is its charming location, nestled among beautiful lakes and forests. The Center's grounds include an English Neo-Gothic palace built in 1866, manor outbuildings, and a modern hotel building. All these facilities are situated within a 9-hectare park. A notable feature of the historic park is its legally protected tree stand, along with three ponds, one of which features an island with a romantic grotto.
