Streszczenie
Coupled nonlinear Abel type integral equations related to combustion problems are considered. The basic results provide criteria for the existence of positive solutions. They are expressed in terms of the generalized Osgood condition. The global behaviour of the solutions, especially the conditions when they experience blow up is also discussed.
