INFORMACJE DLA AUTORÓW
Submission of a manuscript implies that the work described has not been published before (except in the form of a preprint), that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, and that it will not be submitted elsewhere unless it has been rejected by the editors of Acta Arithmetica. Manuscripts in the form of PDF files should be submitted here.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that manuscripts submitted to Acta Arithmetica are their original work and for the content, correctness, originality, and mathematical integrity of their submissions. Authors must also ensure that they give appropriate credit to previous authors whose ideas have been used in their paper. The use of artificial intelligence tools in the preparation of a manuscript must not diminish or compromise these responsibilities.
The principal mathematical ideas, results, arguments, and proofs presented in a paper must originate with the authors. AI tools may not be listed as authors or coauthors, and authors may not attribute responsibility for any part of the manuscript to an AI tool. As a rule, the use of AI tools in preparing a manuscript should be limited to non-research tasks, such as improving language and presentation, formatting the manuscript, or assisting authors in checking arguments that they have developed and written themselves. In all cases, the authors must independently verify the final text and take full responsibility for its correctness. Any substantial use of AI tools beyond such limited assistance must be fully disclosed in the manuscript.
Manuscripts that appear to have been generated, in whole or in substantial part, by artificial intelligence without adequate human intellectual contribution, verification, and authorial responsibility may be rejected on editorial grounds.
On acceptance of the paper, the authors will also be asked to transmit the TeX source file, and then to sign the copyright transfer agreement on the proof stage.
For joint papers, Acta Arithmetica maintains correspondence with only one author. You may contact us through the editorial system or by email.
Recommended format of manuscripts: 12-point type (including references), text width 13.5 cm.

An abstract of not more than 200 words, the AMS Mathematics Subject Classification and a list of key words and phrases are required.
Figures must be prepared in electronic form, suitable for direct reproduction. The use of very thin lines should be avoided.
References should be arranged in alphabetical order and styled according to the examples given below. Abbreviations of journal names should follow MathSciNet. If possible, provide the DOI number below each bibitem.

Affiliations of all authors should be given.
PDF proofs will be e-mailed to the corresponding author.
The Online First version of the article will be sent to the author and published on the journal's web site before the article is assigned to an issue. This version will be freely downloadable for everybody. The author is allowed to post the “Online First” version to his/her personal web site and to any other archives.
When the paper is assigned to an issue, the final print file with all publication data included will also be sent to the author. The latter file will be for the author's personal use only and should not appear on any web site other than IMPAN’s.
Authors retain the right to distribute their author accepted manuscript under a CC-BY license.
The article can also be published in Open Access (that is, with the final print file also freely downloadable) upon paying a fee of 400 euros. The decision should be communicated at the proof stage; the appropriate invoice will then be sent to the author.
