Accommodation and expenses info
All registered participants will be acommodated at the Conference Center. Both accommodation and full board for registered participants will be covered by the organizers.
Have in mind that it would be good to have some amount of Polish zlotys to pay for additional beverages in Będlewo. In Poznań there is no problem to pay with credit card.
Transport to Będlewo
On Sunday 24th of November, there will be a bus departing from Poznań Ławica airport around 18.00 and then going to Poznań Główny train station around 18.30. The meeting point near the Poznań Główny train station is at Dworzec Letni, see this map. There will also be return buses from Będlewo on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning to Poznań railway station and Poznań Ławica airport. Further details will be announced later.
Additionally Będlewo Center can organize a trip from Poznań (airport, railway station PKP and PKS) by taxi to Będlewo. The estimated cost of the taxi from the airport is around 150 PLN (approximately 40EUR), taxis that do not have an agreement with the conference center may be more expensive. When one takes a random taxi, it is a good idea to ask a driver for the price before entering it.
About the Conference Center
Będlewo Conference Center is part of the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IM PAN) and its Banach Center. Besides standard conference facilities, it offers discussion rooms with blackboards and flip charts, and it has a fitness room, a bar, a 24h reception desk, and free car parking. All rooms have private bathrooms.
The conference center is located in a XIX century neo-gothic palace, surrounded by a huge park.
